He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Joseph and Agnes; his brothers, Fred, Pat and Lawrence; his brother-in-law Leonard; his nephew Stephen; and his niece Michelle.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie McKim (Alan), Michael (Beverley), Jim (Joan), David (Kathy), Gary and Greg (Meria); his siblings, Vince (Joy), Margaret Ann and Mary (Paul); and his sisters-in-law, Noreen, Corrie and Anita. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Muscular Dystrophy of Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
