She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Francois Kouwenhoven and Nelly Kouwenhoven; her husband Marinus Zegers; her granddaughter Naya; and her brother George.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Geoff Gleason), Michelle, Chris (Amanda) and Michael (Laura); and her brothers, Ben and Frank. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Bethel Canadian Reformed Church (11251 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1L8). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
