We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023, at the age of 67, Roger Halsall Hewitt of Richmond Hill, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Halsall Hewitt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his brother Vern Hewitt; his parents, Richard Hewitt and Evelyn Hewitt-Gibson (Cowan); his stepfather Henry Gibson; and his mother-in-law Doris Samells.

He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Hewitt; his children, Richard (Jo Marie), Christopher and Mackenzie; his grandchild Elaria; his siblings, Peter Hewitt (Marilyn), Carolyn Fuerth (Rick) and Larry Hewitt (Betty); his father-in-law Melville Samells; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Samells, Carol Samells and Ken Samells (Tess). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Scouts Canada would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO) Scouts Canada.
