He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Kerr and Dorothy Kerr (Benjamin); his children, Dana Stout, James, Carrie Kerr, Joshua Kerr and Leah Normandin Kerr; his grandchildren, Cameron, Jax Stout, Brennan and Bastien Normandin-Kerr; his stepchildren, Travis Cassin, Stephanie Cassin, Cody Cassin (Carrissa Rieley) and Kyshia Cassin (Jessica Morris); his grandchildren, Lexton, Dominic and Maelen Cassin; and his siblings, Joy Kerr, Roy Kerr (Rose), Donna Roelofs (John), Cindy Martin (Tim), Kathy Carnie (Philip), Tina Kerr and Wayne Baltzer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
