He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Monks and David Monks; his stepmother Elsie Monks; his grandparents, Daisy and Henry Quinton; his sister Mary Smith; and his sister-in-law Rose (late Brian Coe).
He is survived by: his wife Judy Monks of Keswick; his children, Robert Monks Jr. (Brooke) of Keswick and Chrystal (Owen Hill) of Keswick; his parent-in-law Shirley (late Hubert Prince); his siblings, Effie Kramer, Ruby Keel, Francis Wheeler, Annie Frost, Florence Monks, Wayne Monks (Crystal) and Winston Monks (Sue); and his brother-in-law Reg Prince (Kathy). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendrier M. W. Becker Funeral Home (490 The Queensway S, Keswick, ON L4P2E3). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Church (12 Turner St, Roches Point, ON L0E1P0).
