He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Brunet and Marguerite St-Jean; and his brother Marcel (Suzanne Giasson). He is survived by: his spouse Jeannine Rose; his children, Linda Mumby (Kevin Haaland) and Michelle Mumby (Hung Nguyen); his grandchildren, Matthew Haaland, Daniel Haaland, Donald Mumby and Maïan Nguyen; and his siblings, Léopold (Claudette) and Pauline (late Aimé Lavergne).
