He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendrik Bootsma and Jetske Bootsma (Buwada); and his siblings, Sjouke and Annie Terpstra. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bootsma Loving (Pander); his children, Fred (Theresa), Terry (Terri) and Diane; his grandchildren, Julia, Matthew, Kristine (Steve), James, Joshua and Thomas; and his brother Piet (Aal). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brendan's Church (51 Riverview Dr, Rockport, ON K0E1L0). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:50 AM at the St. Brendan's Roman Catholic Cemetery (120 Escott Rockport Rd, Mallorytown, ON K0E1R0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Rockport Breakfast Club or the Charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
