He was predeceased by : his parents, George Allan Bell and Mary Helen Mather; and his sister Wilma Bell. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Lauder (Peggy); his children, John (LeeAnne), Douglas (Janis) and MarySusan (Larry Snow); his grandchildren, Adam (Sheena), Dana (Mitch), Elissa, Lauren (Lance), Taylor, Curtis and Cory; his great grandchildren, John David, George, Henry Keiffer, Brielle and Tyson Stafford; and his sisters, Jessie (late Lloyd Clark) and Edith (Peter Matthews).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Durham Hospital Foundation, Knox United Church Memorial Fund or a charity of choice.
