She was predeceased by: her husband George; her son Peter; her parents, Jack Batchelor and Vera Batchelor; and her sisters, Lois Leitch and Jean Fraser.
She is survived by: her children, Georgina Symons (late Peter) of Flesherton, Ron (Heather) of Markdale, Wilda Allen (Paul) of Flesherton, Sherry Armstrong (Bruce) of Orangeville and Gary (Ruth) of Hillsdale; her child-in-law Gale of Durham; her grandchildren, Luke (Mary), Frank (Tammy), Susanna, Sarah, Sam (Christina), Darin, Stacey, Aimee (Jeff), Lauretta, Danielle (JP), Natalie (Isaac), Chris (Crystal), Jason, Vanessa (Aleksandra), Sean (Laura), Joel (Caroline), Megan and Ethan (Makayla); and her siblings, Margaret Hunter, Bessie Green, Stanley Batchelor (Jean) and Gail Clarke (Lindsay). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. (1 Highland Dr, Flesherton, ON N0C1E0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gentle Shepherd Community Church (426176 Concession Rd 8, Flesherton, ON N0C1E0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or Gentle Shepherd Church would be greatly appreciated.
