She was predeceased by : her children, Karen and Joe; her grandsons, Joe (Laura) and Trevor; and her parents, Glenn Paton and Delma Paton.

She is survived by : her husband Wilbert Blain; her children, Peter, Diane (Serge), Tim (Mona) and Rob (Karen); her grandchildren, Tammy (Vatche), Brandie (Jamie), Nicole (Frank), Julia (Keelan), Natalie (Nick), Amanda, Taylor (Brad), Camille and Ayden; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Joey, Lucas, Adrian, Sevan, Tarro, Taavi, Ethan, Ainsley, Adalyn, Anderson, Evangeline, Gracie, James, Thomas, Oliver and Nolan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 212 Furnival Rd, Rodney, ON N0L2C0. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rodney Cemetery (21967 Queens Line, Rodney, ON N0L2C0).

In memory of Eleanor, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
