Alda (Blaker) Staples Obituary
We announce the death of Alda (Blaker) Staples (Roseneath, Ontario), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Alda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Robert "Bob" Staples; her children, Cindy Marriott (Stacey) and Jim Murray (Leslie); her grandchildren, Ethan, Bowen, Dash, Devan, Logen and Sheridan (Nick); her siblings, Audrey Winn (Jane) and Murray; her parents, Gordon Blaker and Olive Blaker (Lake); Brian and Melville (Linda). She was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Alderville Community Centre (8913 45, Roseneath, ON K0K2X0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice or the YMCA Northumberland would be appreciated by the family.
