He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Maloney and Leafy Isabel Maloney; his siblings, Patrick Maloney, Leonard Maloney (late Thelma), Monica Wheeler (late Patrick), Ernie Maloney (late Florence), Lloyd Maloney, Lawrence Maloney, Harold Maloney, Morris Maloney (Irene), Reverend George Maloney and Ruth Wicha (Raymond); and his brother-in-law Donat Aubin (Barbara).

He is survived by: his wife Carol Maloney; his sons, Steven Maloney (Elizabeth) and Allan Maloney (Leslie); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kate and Ryan; his brother Reverend Kelvin Maloney; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Aubin (Rita), Rose Quenneville (Lionel), Sandra McAteer (late Michael) and Renée Noël (late Pierre). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
