He was predeceased by : his siblings, Linda, John, Ellie, Freda, Anne and Pieterke; and his parents-in-law, Herman Engbers, Tina Oosterhoff-Oldenbeuving, Gerhard Schutten, Jack Schutten, Coen VanAndel, Gerrit Ravensbergen, Dirk Bergsma and Josephine Lodder.

He is survived by : his wife Nellie Lindhout (Neeltje); his cousin English; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Peter, Albert and Tina. He is also survived by many in-laws and numerous nephews and nieces.
