He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thomson and Catherine Thomson; his brother Ian (Georgina); and his son Brian. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Stephen Sibbit, Scott, Todd Laudy, Francine Bryant (Vaughn) and Tamara Thomson; his grandsons, William and Stephen; his great grandchild Everleigh; and his friend Anne Osborne.
