She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando; her parents, Albino Cappelli and Maria Cappelli; her siblings, Ezio (Nerina), Egildo, Eridano, Ettore (Lucy), Rosina (Elio) and Elena (Armando); and her sister-in-law Parmina (Enrico) of Italy.
She is survived by: her children, Egilda Chirichiello (Graziano) and Pina Steers (Wayne); her grandchildren, Catrina (Prachi), James (Nadine), Melissa (Adam), Juliana (Drew), Priya, Chiara and Soraya Dutta; her sister Egeria Paparoni; and her sister-in-law Elisa Cappelli. She is also survived by many cousins, neices and nephews.
If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Egle's memory would be appreciated by her family.
