He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Pierce and Jean Pierce (Parker); his cousin Beverly Ann Higgins; his pets, Max and Buddy; and his wife Deborah (Crozier).
He is survived by: his son Corey Pierce (Nicole); his granddaughters, Katie and Brittany Pierce (Doug); his son Adam McArthur; his sisters, Bonnie Purdy (Bob) and Lois Moore (Barry); his grandchildren, Rowan, Isabelle and Audrey; his pet Ernie; and his close friend Steven Brown (Ruth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests either physical or monetary donations to Canadian Blood Services.
