He was predeceased by: his wife Marion; his parents, Harry Caplan and Mary Caplan; and his brothers, Paul Caplan and Bruce Caplan.
He is survived by: his sister Beverley; his children, Kimberley (Tanner), Benjamin (Ida), Mikki (Trevor) and Robyn (Adam); and his grandchildren, Emma, Rylee, Xavier, Saydee and Elliot. He is also survived by cousins, friends.
