He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Viola Durksen; his children, Shannon Peters (Howie), Marsha MacLean (John), Matthew Eckert (Janice) and Merelee Janzen (Karl); his mother Quote; his grandchildren, Darren Peters (Amy), Colin Peters (Mandy), Emmalyne Sullivan (Ryan), Mark Robinson (Christina), Manley Robinson, Taylor Eckert (Stephanie), Madison Eckert, Joshua Janzen and Megan Janzen; and his great grandchildren, Kieran, Declan Peters, Elliot, Rowan, McKinley Peters, Jonathan, Lucille, Sadie, Leona Eckert, Allie Sullivan and Josephine Robinson.
