Helen Kalynka Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Kalynka (Saint-Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on June 17, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vasyl Ane and Aneta Ane; and her siblings, Eva, Dan, George, Nick and Leo.

She is survived by: her husband Stephen Kalynka; her daughters, Stephanie Ross (Clyde), Cheryl Iafrate (Al) and Valerie Lucey (William); her grandchildren, Samantha Ross, Courtney Ross, Christopher Iafrate (Taylor) and Alyshia Iafrate (Chris Wulfers); her sister Dorothy Rakus; her caregivers, Irina, Liliya, Melissa and Bayshore; and her close friend Paramed. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, friends.

In honour of Helen's memory, donations made to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
