He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley Small; his children, Kevin Small (Rebecca), Corey Small (Lauren), Christopher Small and Noelle Urquhart (Scott); and his grandchildren, Rhiannon Small, Henry Urquhart and Alex Small. He was also cherished by five sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Juravinski Hospital by the family in memory of Howie.
