He was predeceased by: his father Henry Cookson; his parent-in-law Mitch Plata; and his caregiver Dr. Kapoor. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Carly (Chris) and Briar (Jordan); his mother Carmel Cookson; his siblings, Donna Cookson (Allan), Doug and Mark Cookson; his pet Chester; his mother-in-law Mary Plata; his siblings-in-law, Gary Plata and Catherine Walsh (Kelly); his pets, Jemmie, Kendle, Bodhi and Apollo; and his caregiver Andrea. He is also survived by friends, teammates, co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any of the following of your choice, the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, The St. Catharines Fallen Firefighters Memorial or the Walker Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by Glen's family.
