With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Gilbert Reid (Saint-Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reid and Sarah Reid; his wife Elaine; and his siblings, Marion McCallum, Verna Bryan and Roderick.

He is survived by: his children, Roderick (Sandra Kurek), Lesley Rice (Dean), Robert (Linda) and Peter (Margaret Kay); his grandchildren, Andrew Reid (Chelsea Csikos), Hilary Bartley (Christopher), Matthew Rice (Rachel Greene) and Jennifer Reid; his great-aunts, Marjorie Burns and Elizabeth Lindsey; his siblings-in-law, Sophia Agler and Roger Agler (Sharon); and his friends, Dan, Linda Degraw, Janet Main and Tanya Williams.
