He was predeceased by: his children, Volodymyr "Walter" (Ruth) of Sudbury and Mychailo "Michael" (Larysa Onyshko) of Toronto; his stepson Jim Boyko of Scarborough; his brother Joe Czerkes of Boyne Falls; and his caregiver Linda Lamarche of Port Colborne.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marti, Chris and Mike Vetterli of North Vancouver; his siblings, Teresa and Mich; and his nieces and nephews, Oksana Vyshywaniuk (Vasyl) of Ukraine, Stephen "Stefan" Czerkes (Cathy) of Marquette and Michigan.
Memorial donations to Chernobyl Children International or Olzhych Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
