He is survived by: his children, Jim Beattie (Cheryl), Carol Beattie-Metz (Wayne) and Calum Beattie (Launa); his grandchildren, Kyle Beattie (Ashley McNabb), Campbell Beattie (Jeff Kaczmarek), Tyler Metz, Clarissa Metz (Paul Chakhov) and Desmond Metz (Marina Tirabassi); his great grandchild Scottie Beattie; and his brother Don.
