She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Joseph Ball; and her parents, Ella Wood and Al Wood. She is survived by: her brother Dr Robert Wood; her children, Jeff Ball (Sandra Mai) and Alison Thompson (Ren Mckenzie); and her grandchildren, Graham Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Whitney Charette, Matthew and Sarah Ball.
