She was predeceased by : her husband Eric M. McComb; and her siblings, Hugh, John Burkitt and Betty Thompson. She is survived by : the mothers of children, Linda (Robert Farmer), Carol (Robin Fraser), Niagara, Karen McGrath and Beverly Alldridge; her grandchildren, Meredith Fraser (Janet Gardner), Adam Alldridge (Keely Roberts) and Nicholas Alldridge (Alix); her great grandchildren, Ella Howe, Avery, Kallie Alldridge, Joseph Alldridge, Thomas and Laura Burkitt; and her brother Harry Burkitt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Doreen's honour to a charity of your choice.
