He was predeceased by : his siblings-in-law, Randy and Teresa; his stepchildren, Tia and Grant; his parents, Paul and JoAnn; his mother-in-law Danuta; and his siblings, Linda and Ron.

He is survived by : his wife Tanya; his siblings, Janice, Cathy, Karen (Tim), Susie, Paul, Michael (Helen), Gary (Patti) and Jamie; and his pets, Leo and Mishiu. He is also survived by nephew.
