He was predeceased by: his brothers, Stanley, Albert, Raymond, Ed and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Gary, Carolyn Cookson (Glen) and Catherine Walsh (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Jennifer (Colton), Mitchell, Carly (Chris), Briar (Jordan), Kaitlyn, Ryan (CJ), James, Adaline and Rowan. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
If desired, the family's wish for donations to be made in honour of Mitch to the Kidney Care Program at the NHS-St. Catharines Site and/or the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
