He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelina; his children, Marilu D'Amore (Pat), Pina Palombo and Anna Sheridan (John); and his stepdaughter Gabriella Milanovich. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hotel Dieu Shaver or Niagara Children's Centre.
