He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Kirk and Margaret Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Alene; his children, Stuart (Melissa) and Jessica (Erin); his grandsons, William and Andrew Ridley; his sister Christine Roberts; and his sister-in-law Ruth Saxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
