It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pietro Ciavattone (Saint-Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on July 6, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Ciavattone; his parents, Antonio Ciavattone and Angela Ciavattone; and his parents-in-law, Giovanni and Enia Bucci.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Ciavattone; his children, Lucy Ioannoni (Domenic) and Dan Ciavattone (Meaghan); his daughter-in-law Freda Mihas-Ciavattone; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Larissa, Peter, David Anthony and Sofia; his siblings, Maria Romanelli (late Enio) and Panfilo Ciavattone (Carmela); and his sibling-in-law Flavia LoStrappo (Francesco). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his cousins.
In memory of Mr. Ciavattone, donations in lieu of flowers to Hospice Niagara (403 Ontario Street, St. Catharines) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
