She was predeceased by: her husband Jaan Kivisild; her son-in-law Rick Rasmussen; and her mother Barbara Leemets. She is survived by: her sons, Kai Rasmussen and Tom Heinar (Evi); and her grandchildren, Julie, Alexander Rasmussen (Priya), Laani Teetsov (Vince) and Tuula Gibbs (Matt).
