She was predeceased by: her daughter Julia Bausch; her former husband Leonardo DeFazio; her husband Salvatore Marano; and her siblings, Guiseppe Spadafora, Marietta Menna and Giovanni Spadafora.
She is survived by: her son Salvatore Marano Jr. (Patti); her son-in-law Dennis Bausch; her grandchildren, Kristy (Michael), Bryan (Rachel), Houston (Clay), Salvatore III and Lily; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Taylor, Brooklyn and Liam. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Donations to the Alzheimers Society in Rita's memory in lieu of flowers are welcomed.
