It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Mitchell of Saint-Catharines, Ontario, who passed away on March 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Mitchell; her siblings, Ramian, Fred, Ernest, Rene, Raymond, Percy, Herbert, Stella, Pearl, Evelyn and Louise; and her parents, Wilfred Lalonde and Syffrina Lalonde.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Martel (Raymond) of St. Andrews, ON, Carolyn Morin (Roger) of Abbotsford, BC and Timmy Mitchell of St. Catharines, ON.; her grandchildren, Kelly, Ray Jr. and Tom; her great grandchildren, Shelby, Emma-Lee and Sasha; and her sisters, Ida Thibeault (Gerry) and Donalda Coté (late Raymond).
