He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hammond and Matilda Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his children, Robert (Gisele), Andrew (Gail) and Chris (Jenn); his grandchildren, Rebecca Kelly (AJ), Drew and Anna; and his siblings, Walter (Patricia), Effie Sheppard (late David) and Emmie Marsh (late Eddie).
