He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie"; his parents, Bob Powell and Bertha Powell; and his son Jeffery. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer (Shawn Cudney); his grandchildren, Ashlynn and S. J. Dear; and his brother Bruce (Shirley Powell). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
