He was predeceased by: his son David; and his brothers, Tom (Kay) and Ken Etherington. He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Pepin); his children, Royanne McRae (Ken), Ron Etherington (Karen), Blaine Etherington (Amy), Nancy Salassidis (Pericles) and Jason Etherington (Sarah); his grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle and Dylan Vary; his siblings, George (Norma), Lois MacDonald (late Daryl), Fred (Pat) and Bob (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Carroll (Bill), Margaret Fournier (Moe), Rita Mason (Dave), Joseph Pepin (Peggy) and Jeff Pepin (Linda). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
