“So sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing. She was an amazing friend to me when I lived in St. Catharines. So full of life and fun! She introduced me to the wonderful Blues music played in the region and we both had a "crush" on Jack de Keyzer. We didn't see much of each other once I moved away, but I still found myself looking for that bright yellow car she drove! When we first met, I asked her why such a vivid colour and she told me it was so that she could find it easily in the parking lot! We kept in touch via birthday and Christmas cards, and there was always a hand written meaningful note from her. I had hoped we to meet with her again after Covid restrictions lifted and am so sad that this will now not happen. I will miss her. My condolences to her family. Sincerely, Elaine Muise”
