Claire Gour Obituary
We announce the death of Claire Gour (Saint-Charles, Ontario), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 97. Claire will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Jean Gour; her children, Normand Gour, Carmen Cloutier (late Rhéal) and Lise Gour; her parents, Joseph Ethier and Fleur Ethier; her siblings, Henri Ethier (late Liliane), Jeannine Charette (late Blaine) and Rita Bellmare (late Gerry); and her nephew Richard (Lorna).
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Ouellette (late Ghyslain), Nicole Cloutier (Alcide) and Nancy Bellmore (Bett-Ann); her grandchildren, Dan (Ginny), Gilles, Billy (Lise), Martin, Isabelle, Luc, Timmy (Jessica) and Jamie; and her nephews, Rhéal (Shawna), Gaetan (Cindy), Bob and Claude. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online to the Health Sciences North Foundation.
