He was predeceased by: his daughter Dolores Dueck; his grandsons, Lyndall Huber and Jeremy Huber; his great grandchild Nathan Hooks; his sister Nettie Plett; and his siblings-in-law, John Plett, Arthur Plett, Albert Barkman and Elaine Dueck.
He is survived by: his children, Erna Huber (Kevin) of Milverton, ON, Gerald Dueck (Michelle) of Myerstown, PA, Marvin Dueck (Darlene) of Olar, SC, Marles Martin (Dan) of Wellsboro, PA, Arlene Dueck of Elmira, ON, Jessica Eby (Roger) of Elora, ON, Twyla Dueck (Fred) of Winkler, MB, Leighton Dueck (Naomi) and Leon Dueck (Beth) of Olar, SC.; and his siblings, Rosella Plett of Manitoba, Lawrence Dueck (Florence) of Manitoba and Tina Barkman (Herman Weick) of Manitoba. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship (6449 Wellington County Rd 11, Linwood, ON N0B2S0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Zorra Mennonite Church (677044 16th Line, New Hamburg, ON N3A2X3). A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (82 Bergey Ct, New Hamburg, ON N3A2J5). A reception will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the East Zorra Mennonite Church (677044 16th Line, New Hamburg, ON N3A2X3).
