She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Barry Chiswell; her daughters, Danielle Fox (Kevin) and Denise Chiswell; her stepsons, Douglas Chiswell (Shawn) and David Chiswell; her grandchildren, Theo and Alex; her parents, Alwine Zielke and Heinrich Zielke; her sister Linda () Gilchrist (Fred); her niece Caroline Anderson; and her great-nephew Beau. She was also cherished by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation and SickKid's Charitable Giving Fund (cards available at the funeral home).
