She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Heard; her daughter-in-law Peggy Heard; her sister Isabel Thomson; her brother-in-law Clarence; and her parents, William Armstrong and Elizabeth Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Anderson (Brian) of Tavistock, Joan Heard (John) of Manotick and John (Barb) of Thorndale; her granddaughter Heather Peters (Dennis); her great grandchildren, Hailey and Elliott; her grandchildren, Amber Anderson, Alexander Anderson and Meg Julian (Mark); her great grandchildren, Bruce and Ellen; her grandchildren, Sarah Julian and Hillary Morriss (Steve); her great grandchildren, Abbey, Jacob, Robyn and Melanie Harris (Kyle); Kendall, Bronson and Corbyn.
