He is survived by: his wife Heather Smith; his children, Kathleen Durfy (James) and Ryan Smith (Christine); his grandchildren, Colin, Evan, Nathan, Sydney, Hannah and Owen; his brothers-in-law, Paul Wivell (Jen) and Peter Wivell (Vicki); his nieces, Stephanie (Tyler) and Kaitlyn; his nephew Jakob; and his great-nephew Jack.
