He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorna Edwards and Franklin Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Anne; his children, Devon Hogue (Stephen), Andrew Edwards (Shannon) and Merlin; and his siblings, Allan Edwards (Cathy), Patricia Glassford (Malcolm) and Stephen Edwards (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his four grandchildren.
