He was predeceased by: his parents, George Emrich and Maria Emrich; and his parents-in-law, Michael and Katharina Kauntz. He is survived by: his spouse Katy; his children, Christopher Emrich (Jennifer), David Emrich (Andrea), Katharina Karst (John) and Kimberly Emrich; and his sister Dorothy Alderson (Philip).
