He was predeceased by: his parents, George Worte and Blanche Worte; his wife Eunice Worte (Harkes); his siblings, Alvin, Linda and Charles Worte; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Agla (Dick) and Bill Harkes.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Worte (Stephen Smith) of Uniondale, David Worte (Wendy) of Lakeside and Donna Smith (Karl) of Thorndale; his grandchildren, Ryan Worte (Kady Billings), Raechel Boertien (Jared Boertien), Kaitlin Smith (Joel Curry), Emma Smith (Zach Burns), Mack Smith, Quinn Smith, Jack Smith and Samuel Smith; his great grandchild Hailey Billings-Worte; his siblings, Shirley Hacon (Harold) and Sharon Agla; and his in-laws, Holly Keizer, Cheryl McCall (George), Cindy Harkes and Robert Harkes (Luanne).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 7th 2026 at the Thamesford Community Centre (85 Middleton St, Thamesford, ON N0M2M0).
