He was predeceased by : his parents, Romeo Poirier and Mildred Phillips (Belair). He is survived by : his daughters, Nicole Marshall (Brian Marshall) and Amanda Poirier; and his sister Lysa Capen (James Capen) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to House of Friendship as expressions of sympathy.
