With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Smythe in Saint-Marys, Ontario, who passed away on March 30, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his child Beverly Fitzgerald (Ronald); his parents, William and Laura; his grandchildren, William and Alisia; and his siblings, Douglas, Donald, Fred, Ken, Russel, Caroline, Gertrude and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Smythe; his son William Smythe (Kari); his grandchildren, Ann, Anita (Randy), Tanya, Tiffany (Les), Trevor (Tia), Patricia and Amanda (Matt); his great grandchildren, Delilah, Caley, Lillie, Alma and Arla; his siblings, Bruce, Edward and Marianne; and his friend Brad Kennedy.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation, KW Humane Society or St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
