He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Armstrong. He is survived by: his children, Dan Armstrong (Wendy), Dianne Downing (Chico) and Gloria Strathdee (Al); his grandchildren, Emily, Kevin, Ben Armstrong (Rashelle), Jacob, Casey Downing, Andrea, Billy (Raven) and Rachel Strathdee; and his siblings, Betty Gray, Harriet MacNeil and Don Armstrong. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Parish (149 King St N, St. Marys, ON N4X1B4).
