In loving memory of Berna Ilene Gillard (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), who departed this world on January 31, 2026 at the age of 97. Berna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon "Bud" Gillard; her siblings, Roy Shelley and Jean McPhail; and her parents, George Shelley and Nita Shelley (Hindley).
She is survived by: her children, Tim (Roberta), Teeder (Jan), Terry (Becki), Doug (Cindy), Penny (Charlie Zavitz), Don (Catherine) and Peggy (Ron Esson). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
